The dutch telecom watchdog OPTA fined a dutch spammer for € 75.000 ($ 96.000)
It was proven that he send 9.000.000.000  SPAM mails.
He rented servers in the u.s.a and it was microsoft that gave him a kick in the balls,they informed the dutch authority.
The spammer earned about $ 52.000 and the mails were send with effected computers.
Sending out unsolicited mail is illegal in the netherlands since 2004.
The OPTA has more spammers under investigation,this was nr 13....
A total of 60 warnings were given,to bad we dont have the death penalty for spammers.
